Raising awareness of the importance and fascinating history of Dennistoun as a designated Conservation Area and to inform residents of their rights and responsibilities when maintaining and improving their homes and gardens.
We are now on Instagram thanks to Maria - anything you would like to feature either on our website or on Instagram or on Facebook please send to us. We are hoping to make a survey of all the decorative work which features in so many of our buildings - not just the Conservation Area. There is a link to Instagram at the bottom of the page - do have a look and what been featured there.
We can't plan for meetings yet but hopefully clean ups will resume soon! I am sure you all will be looking forward to that! Unfortunately there will not be a Dennistoun Day event in 2021 - usually the closest Thursday to Alexander Dennistoun's birthday in August but we look forward to a very special 2022 event.
Please look into becoming a member online on our 'About us' page - 'Membership' section in the blue panel- to enable the Society to continue until we can have our social events again.
That is it for now. Do take care and keep well.
Please add your details via the contact form if you want to get in touch with us or receive emails from us.
